Job Duties: Assist with preventing plant breakdowns by completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring that downtime of the facility is kept to a minimum.Reporting of tasks completed in an efficient manner through our maintenance softwareCarry out daily maintenance inspections of the equipment Assist with the control of stock levels of spare parts on site and reporting this information to Operations Supervisor/manager.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar engineering role (either mechanical/electrical/both).Enthusiastic & competent to solve engineering problems.Demonstrate analytical approach to investigation.Experienced in fabrication tasks using MIG & Electrode welding & using gas burning equipment.Flexible approach to working hours - shift working arrangement which will include weekends & breakdown/Call out cover, to facilitate completion of maintenance works when the equipment is available.Valid UK Driving License as may involve travel around other depots throughout the group as & when required.Willing to carry out any other duty that is requested by Management.Desirable - Experience in working in a processing manufacturing or waste industry.*Any offer of employment will be subject to successful practical aptitude test.
