Job Duties: The purpose of the role is to be responsible for Electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding of plant equipment to minimise downtime.This will include:Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate and troubleshoot problems.Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing equipment, to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.Upkeep of site lighting, emergency lighting testing and other regulatory testing.Servo motor repairs and testing.Install, repair and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.Make decisions based on technical documents.Perform quality testing and inspections.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum apprentice time served in electrical discipline.Experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.Knowledge of servo motors, PLC's and variable speed drives.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read schematics and other technical documents.HV experience highly desirable but not essential.
