Job Duties: Arolco Engineering Solutions manufactures for a wide range of customers throughout Ireland and beyond. This established family engineering firm are seeking an Operator with some relevant experience in both CNC and Manual Turning, Milling, Grinding and other Machine shop processes. The work is more interesting than a normal CNC shop, as volumes are limited and the Company makes a wide variety of components.The main activities of our Machinists are:To work in machine shop producing assembling components and products from drawings, sketches or samples provided by customers and the Arolco technical team.Operate various machines (lathes, mills etc), ensuring appropriate quality and within budget times.Assist in other duties within the Machine shop eg handling of materials, machine clean-downs, maintenance etc.See more info at: https://arolcoengineeringsolutions.com/general-operative/
Qualifications / Experience: Key Skills Required:Experience of machine operation.Ability to communicate and work with others as well as working on own.Respond flexibly to change.Good understanding of manual handling practices.The ideal candidate to join our team should offer:An excellent attitude to work and experience of working at a fast pace.A flexible approach to work in order to meet business needs.An understanding of engineering drawings and a strong emphasis on quality.A strong team ethic and willingness to communicate effectively within other employees.Willingness to take on new challenges and an ability to prioritise workflow in order to perform effectively.Good understanding of Health and Safety at work and a willingness to adhere to our safety at work policy.
