Job Duties: Repair of all systems and equipment within the factory.Electrical and mechanical maintenance.Installation of any new equipment.Contribution to the efficiency of the operation by identifying preventative maintenance tasks for the equipment and maximising uptime of machinery.Compliance with quality, safety, environment management systems and procedures to ensure all duties are executed in a safe manner, minimising harm to the environment, self and others.Any other duties which may be required by management to ensure the efficient running of the factory.

Qualifications / Experience: Hold an electrical qualification (we will consider candidates with extensive multi-skilled electric / mechanical maintenance experience who do not have a qualification)Time-served maintenance engineer / electrician.A good mix of electrical and general mechanical experience.Working knowledge and experience of processing plant and equipment.Ability to diagnose electrical faults.Ability to diagnose faults from PLC.Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.IT Literacy - must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.Desirable Criteria:Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration systems and electronics.Ability to interpret schematics.Background of working with high speed, high output equipment.
