Job Duties: The role will involve general welding duties.We make products for many different customers, so you can develop your welding capability and hone your skills on varied parts rather than doing the same thing all the time.We are big enough to have professional processes in place, but small enough for each team member's input to be crucial, so you'll be a valued addition to the team rather than just a small cog in a giant wheel.

Qualifications / Experience: Ideally you will have:An awareness of the importance of health, safety and environmental concerns in a manufacturing plantThe required skills and knowledge to check your own work from engineering drawingsThe capacity to produce the highest quality of parts in high variety and volume in a target-driven environmentExperience:At least 1-2 years welding in mild steel (Essential)Making simple jigs and fixtures (Desirable)Other fabrication skills such as grinding and fettling would be advantageousHours of work: 7am-5pm Mon-Thurs (38 hour contract), overtime available
