Job Duties: To carry out skilled DIY & general maintenance work both internal and external (including external grounds) and ensure that high standards of maintenance are upheld in line with regulation and legislation.The role includes general DIY and maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, replacement of tiling and flooring, and painting and decorating. This also includes regular checks and assessments of both private and public areas, liaising with domestic assistance/housekeeping/care staff, performing jobs as and when they are required.

Qualifications / Experience: 6+ months experience in a similar role.Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of a wide range of traditional building trades.Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, and COSHH assessments.Full driving licence.GCSE Maths and English.Basic IT skills.Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.Health care experience not essential but it is desirable.Will be required to be signed off as competent at the induction training.Available to work a flexible shift pattern.Eligibility to work in UK.
