Qualifications / Experience: Applicants must possess a recognised and registered building CITB apprenticeship Plus 4 years post apprenticeship experience spent on the maintenance of complex buildings.Certified on the Construction Skills Register or other approved technical qualification(s)Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will per skills / abilities.Good understanding of the inter-relationships between the various maintenance crafts.Good communication skills. Knowledge of building maintenance.Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work.Have attended a course at CITB in relation to any aspects of building maintenance techniques and repairs or the use of equipment for carrying out building maintenance work.
