Job Duties: You will be working as an asphalt screwman to adjust the screed height on the paving machine to ensure proper depth, grade and finish. You will also be responsible for ensuring the correct distribution of material over road surfaces for uniform distribution and the overall quality of the finished road. Duties will include using depth gauges to verify depth specifications of the compacted asphalt and operating valves/handwheels to regulate the flow of material at a specified rate.

Qualifications / Experience: Valid CSR card (or equivalent) Flexibility to perform overtime (incl some evenings and weekends)Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar roleKnowledge of asphalt works as screwperson.Ability to climb heavy equipment several times throughout the dayAbility to perform essential job tasks in less than favourable weather conditionsExcellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills
