Job Duties: Mannok Cement is a significant energy user and has implemented an Energy Management system (EnMS) to improve energy performance and lower its carbon impact. In this role you will manage the EnMS and recommend and support the implementation of energy performance improvements across the plant.You will ensure that the EnMS is established, implemented, maintained, and continually improved and conforms to the requirements of ISO 50001. In addition, you will devise action plans to improve energy performance and report on the performance of the EnMS and improvement of energy performance to management.

Qualifications / Experience: A third level qualification in a relevant technical discipline ie Engineering, Environmental or Sustainability or equivalent is essentialCompetent technical engineering knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical applications to implement energy saving solutions in various areas such as: Inverters / Variable speed drives (VSDs), base load reduction, compressed air, pumps, drives, motors, hydraulics, LED Lighting, CHP (Combined Heat & Power), and heat recovery is required.An understanding of environmental assessment methodologies would be a distinct advantage.
