Job Duties: The deputy Lead quality Officer will be responsible for the monitoring, implementation and updating of all relevant quality legislation and requirements. He/she will be responsible for the discipline specific gathering of Quality related information and the management of associated quality programmes with particular relevance to accreditation bodies.He/she will assist the quality lead and line management in developing centralised policies and documentation and joint quality manuals, where applicable, in order to assist unification of laboratory services. He/she will monitor quality programmes at discipline specific level ensuring that the discipline complies with all quality policies, legislation and guidelines and also complies with CPA/UKAS and other accreditation requirements. Qualifications / Experience: State Registered with HCPC.Member of IBMS.Must hold FIBMS or MSc in Biomedical Sciences or Higher Specialist Diploma (Haematology/Blood Transfusion speciality) and have at least 5 years relevant post registration experience in Haematology/Blood Transfusion.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
