Job Duties: Reporting to the Projects and CI Manager, the successful candidate will have the below responsibilities:Determine costs for small/large projects in conjunction with Project ManagerSupport the maintenance team to ensure smooth running of the plantDevelop and optimise the current processes in place and support the operator training to improve efficiencies Deal with any day-to-day H&S requirements for contractors where project work is involvedCompliance; routine maintenance testing for plant equipment, e.g. LEV, Gas etc.Follow Health & Safety standards and ensure PPE are adhered toHelp develop H&S procedures required for new and existing equipmentHelp to reduce overall project costs through experience of dealing with UK and NI suppliers Help reduce costs by targeting spend in project areas by focusing on efficiency through innovationFull job description at https://www.devenishnutrition.com/about/recruitment/
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Time served engineer with experience of working under pressureExcellent analytical and communication skillsGood organisational and time management skillsProblem-solving skillsAn ability to work on own initiative but also to work collaboratively with othersFlexible and adaptable Proactive and motivated with the ability to resolve intricate situationsDesirable Criteria:Mechanically biasedExperience within a production/ manufacturing environment
