Job Duties: The Process Engineering Group in Kyocera AVX Coleraine is responsible for all the processes used in the design and manufacture of Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) and we are now recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our team. We are interested in hearing from graduates as well as individuals with process engineering experience.The Role:You will be working within a team of technical experts to support the design and manufacture of ceramic capacitors, for use in high reliability applications such as global automotive, aerospace and space industries. The role of the Process Engineer is to maintain and optimise existing processes, equipment and operating procedures to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.The successful candidate will also design, trial and implement new processes and manage scale-up of products from development through to full scale production.
Qualifications / Experience: You will have a degree or equivalent in a science or engineering related discipline for example Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Materials Science etc. Be able to deliver on your KPIs, strong project management and organisational skills and enjoy the challenge of problem solving and thinking outside the box. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
