Job Duties: Work closely with Laboratory Managers and Head of RCLS Quality to provide expert advice and guidance in the setup of new clinics and test methods, including regulatory and accreditation considerations.Participate in External Audits alongside the Head of RCLS Quality as a RCLS Quality representativeTo participate in Internal Quality Audits taking lead as a fully trained and competent internal auditor for ISO 17025:2017 & ISO 15189:2012 and GCP Audits.Assist in management of non-conforming (NC) work identified within RCLS, ensuring these are managed in line with expected and documented timelines.Report to the RCLS Quality Manager on the CAPA Plan and the NC Progress, and milestone achievement to CAPA Plans on a weekly basis.Participate in special projects and initiatives as requested by the RCLS Quality Manager or Head of RCLS Quality.Manage and trend key Quality performance indicators.
Qualifications / Experience: Qualified to degree level in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science (Min 2:1).Experience in Quality Managements Systems.Possess excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.Demonstrate excellent leadership skills.Knowledge of a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Excel to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.Desirable: Qualified to a degree level in Genetics or equivalent subject, or previous experience working within Genetic Testing.Experience in ISO 17025/ISO 15189/GCP Internal Auditing, however, full training will be provided.
