Job Duties: The role reports into the CE Engineering and Job Change Manager within the CE team. Responsible for CE engineering performance and for delivering the performance targets in line with overall Group guidelines and ensuring compliance with H&S and GMP (BRC) guidelines and standards. To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the cold end production and rework equipment.To comply with all Food Safety Legislation communicated through the Hygiene Policy, the Quality System and BriefingsEnsure all plant and equipment is regularly and properly maintained to deliver optimum performance using our preventative maintenance system (PEMAC), visual checks and routine inspections.Overhaul and repair equipment and assemblies as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the plant.

Qualifications / Experience: Candidates should be qualified to a Minimum of:Foundation Degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, with over 5 years post grad experience within an Engineering Dept.BEng Hons in Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent), with over 2 years post grad experience within an Engineering Dept.Business KnowledgeMulti-skillingFlexibilityContinuous Improvement ActivitiesCandidates should have a good working Knowledge and understanding of the following.Pneumatics & Hydraulic Systems.Electrical Systems.PLC'S.HMI's.Experience working with medium/large automated manufacturing, Inspection & packaging Equipment .Able to work independently and on own initiative.Excellent fault finding skills.Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques.Good written and verbal communication skills.
