Job Duties: Respond quickly and efficiently to any unscheduled plant stoppages.Carry out PPM for all areas of the site.Safely carry out all repairs to plant, equipment and services as quickly and efficiently as possible.Participate in the efficient running of the maintenance department with regards to housekeeping, the planning of work, use of tools and the control of spare parts and materials.Participate in the breakdown program for maintenance faults.Be proactive by generating and implementing process improvements.Play a lead role in the efficient operation of production machinery.Be technically minded with a strong desire to develop.

Qualifications / Experience: Experience in an operational role within a manufacturing industry working towards regulatory and customer standards.Previous experience in mechanical breakdowns.Ability to complete basic maintenance and replace mechanical parts.Ability to set up and adjust key line side equipment ensuring highest standards of quality.Excellent communication skills and a proactive and can-do approach.Although not essential the following criteria would be an advantage:Electrical / Mechanical HNC/HND/Time served trade or equivalent
