Job Duties: Clinical/Professional/Specific Managerial Responsibilities:Undertake preventative maintenance, calibration and test routines on a wide range of life support, anaesthetic and therapeutic equipment throughout the Directorate.Operation of complex medical equipment including anaesthetic machines, ventilators, defibrillators, Intensive care monitoring, infusion pumps, endoscopes, continuous renal replacement therapy equipment, CPAP systems, hypothermia / normothermia equipment, pressure infusion systems, surgical generators, lasers, surgical and intubation camera systems, image Intensifiers, surgical microscopes and any other medical equipment used within the Directorate.

Qualifications / Experience: MSc in Clinical Science (Critical Care Science)OrBSc. in Clinical Physiology, Science or Biomedical Engineering and at least two years as Band 6 CSS with a minimum of two years experience in Intensive Care or Theatres.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
