Job Duties: The employer is: INDUSTRIAL FLOORCARE MACHINES LIMITED. Industrial Floorcare Machines Ltd sell and service commercial floor cleaning machines throughout the British Isles. It is our intention to train and upskill a person to become a field based Engineer. The field based engineer would visit customers on request to diagnose and repair faults on equipment, set up new equipment and provide training. To provide the necessary training the JobStart participant will be partnered with a qualified engineer. Due to the varied sizes of equipment, the role requires a certain amount of manual dexterity as well as ability to climb on driver operated equipment. The nature of our business can on occasion demand early starts and late finishes as many cleaning operations take place at unsocial hours. The engineer will be required to complete paperwork and keep records. You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Candidates must be willing to develop the following skills:Electrical Fault Finding. Mechanical Fault Finding. Health and Safety Training. Required:Good communication skills.Must be free of profound colour blindness. Must be willing to learn to drive or already obtained a driving licence. Will be require to pass an Enhanced Access NI vetting due to nature of customers, schools, vulnerable adults. Able do to simple mathematics and communicate clearly. Able to use, repair and maintain machines and tools. To be thorough and pay attention to detail. Exhibit problem-solving skills, the ability to use own initiative, and to be taught.
