Job Duties: Undertake preventative maintenance, calibration and test routines on a wide range of life support, anaesthetic and therapeutic equipment throughout the Directorate.Operation of complex medical equipment including anaesthetic machines, ventilators, defibrillators, Intensive care monitoring, infusion pumps, endoscopes, continuous renal replacement therapy equipment, CPAP systems, hypothermia / normothermia equipment, pressure infusion systems, surgical generators, lasers, surgical and intubation camera systems, image Intensifiers, surgical microscopes and any other medical equipment used within the Directorate.

Qualifications / Experience: MSc in Clinical Science (Critical Care Science) OR BSc. in Clinical Physiology, Science or Biomedical Engineering and at least two years as Band 6 CSS.With a minimum of two years' experience in Intensive Care or Theatres.OR HNC in Biology, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Science or Physiological Measurement and at least three years as a Band 6 CCS with a minimum of three years' experience in Intensive Care or Theatres.
