Job Duties: Approve incoming raw material, in-process production and finished products, to include-confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement checks, reject and return unacceptable material where necessary, liaise with Production Supervisors to discuss any adjustments required and return/confirm any products to be re-worked;Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarising re-work and waste;Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and organising repairs;Maintain a safe work environment by following all relevant standards and procedures to include complying with any applicable legislation;Maintain all company quality standards.

Qualifications / Experience: At least two years' experience working in a similar environment;GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent);Able to analyse information;Record and report results;Promote process improvement;Maintain safety standards at all times;Self-motivated with strong organisational/planning skills;Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with all production teams in an environment with changing prioritiesAccuracy, with taking measurements and recording information;Strong problem solving and decision making skills;Able to work well under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines;Results driven;Ability to liaise with customers as and when required.
