Job Duties: Undertake commissioning and routine performance testing of diagnostic and therapeutic Ultrasound systems.The provision of advice on the safe use and performance of diagnostic and therapeutic Ultrasound systems.Undertake commissioning and routine performance testing of non-ionising radiation equipment.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
Qualifications / Experience: A minimum of a 2nd class Honours degree, or equivalent, in Physics or other appropriate science subject.Demonstrable experience of ultrasound physics and non-ionising radiation physics and safety commensurate with having completed a formal training scheme for clinical scientists.Registration as Clinical Scientist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or achievement of registration within 12 months of appointment.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
