Job Duties: Receive & sort samples and record relevant information regarding transport conditions according to SOPs.Undertake the routine and non -routine preparation and examination of samples received in the laboratory, according to SOPs & methods.Assist with the preparation & processing of samples for Internal Quality Control (IQC), Uncertainty of Measurement (UOM) and External Quality Assurance schemes (EQAS).Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: 2 GCSE's (Grades A-C /9-4) in Maths and English or equivalent PLUS 3 years' relevant laboratory experience, to include 1 year at band 3 level.OR4 GCSE's (Grades A-C /9-4) including Maths and English or equivalent PLUS 2 year's relevant laboratory experience, to include 1 year at band 3 level.OR NVQ Level 3 in a science related subject or equivalent PLUS 1 years' relevant laboratory experience at band 3 level.ORBTEC National Diploma in an Applied Science or equivalent plus 1 years' relevant laboratory experience at band 3 level.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
