Job Duties: Engage with new and existing customers in a proactive manner. There is no cold calling in this role. Support the external sales team with customer requests e.g. technical information, updated quotes or required product certification.Place direct sales orders, organise delivery times, and notify customers.Follow up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service.Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary, passing to the Branch Manager for regular sign off.
Qualifications / Experience: Previous experience of sales with a good understanding of product knowledge and the routes to market would be desirable, however full training will be given.Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.Natural passion for delivering an outstanding experience for the customerConfident working under pressureAbility to manage and prioritise own diary and workloadFlexible and adaptable to meet ever changing requests and demandsGood problem solving abilityPrior experience of using a CRM system
