Job Duties: Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate will carry out daily interactions with customers both over the phone and face-to-face. You will have access to a company van, and will spend your day on the road completing a pre-planned route delivering product to customers, gaining repeat business, and prospecting for new customers. You will build relationships with key customers and act as the face of Martin Engineering Supplies. The role will cover all of NI.The candidate will be tasked with:Managing and growing a portfolio of current customers.Landing new business through prospecting and cold-calling.Deliveries to customer sites in company van.Planning efficient daily routes to enable calls to current and new customers.

Qualifications / Experience: The candidate will have:At least 2 years experience in salesA full valid UK driving licenceExcellent written and oral communication skillsA strong desire to sell, highly motivated and a self-starter.An advantage would be:Experience dealing with fasteners/tools/consumablesPrevious use of Sage50 AccountsExperience in field-based B2B sales
