Job Duties: Solicit proactive sales from new and existing customersSupport the external sales team with customer requests e.g. technical information, updated quotes or required product certification.Place direct sales orders, organise delivery times, and notify customers.Follow up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service.Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts.Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary, passing to the Branch Manager for regular sign off.Any other duties deemed reasonable
Qualifications / Experience: Suitable applicants for this opportunity will ideally be/have:A proven track record of sales / business development with a good understanding of product knowledge and the routes to market.Strong I.T. skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.Natural passion for delivering an outstanding experience for the customerConfident working under pressureAbility to manage and prioritise own diary and workloadFlexible and adaptable to meet ever changing requests and demandsGood problem-solving abilityPrior experience of using a CRM system
