Job Duties: Keenan Seafood is a leading supplier of fresh and frozen seafood to the catering and retail trades throughout N Ireland. An exciting new business opportunity has arisen for the company to operate a fresh fish counter, on a concession basis within the Tesco Extra Newtownards store. The Customer Service Staff will be key members of the Team in ensuring that customers receive an outstanding level of service and attention. Duties can include handling/packaging food, serving customers and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Must have a good personality, interested in providing excellent customer service and a flair for sales.Must be able to use initiative in upselling to customers. Must be fully flexible and able to work evening and weekend shifts (Monday- Saturday 7am to 7pm). Must have previous experience of working in a retail environment.Must have an interest in working with and handling fish.Desirable Criteria:Level 2 Food Safety Certificate in Retail.Basic knife skills.Previous experience of working on a fish or butchery counter.Food handling experience.A knowledge of fish.
