Job Duties: The employer is: OXFAM. This post is located at the Oxfam Botanic store. Work with the shop manager to maximise profitability by actively encouraging customers to visit the store and purchase merchandise. Work towards achieving targets and hitting monthly budgets. Provide excellent customer service. Ability to resolve customer service issues. Carry out visual merchandising. Maintain inventory control. Perform opening and closing procedures. Maintain a fun, professional and friendly environment with staff, customers and volunteers. Complete paperwork and banking procedures accurately. Work in a safe way, observing all health and safety guidelines. Attend all team meetings contributing fully to the team discussions and initiatives. Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties determined by the shop manager. You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Heavy lifting is a requirement of this role, applicants must be able to perform efficiently the duties of the role. Strong commitment to Oxfam's mission and values. Minimum of 6 months' relevant experience in a customer facing environment. Previous experience in cash handling. Excellent customer service skills. Flexible approach to working hours-ability to work weekends and evenings as required. Experience in working as part of a diverse team and ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to work well as part of a team and lead it on occasion.
