Job Duties: Manage the hospital switchboard ensuring a prompt, efficient and pleasant manner is maintained at all times. This includes but is not limited to the following sites: Antrim, Mid-Ulster, Braid Valley, Whiteabbey, Moyle Hospital and Causeway Hospital.Manage all staff rotas and provide cover for Telephonist/Switchboard Support Officers absences as and when required, ensure continuity and co-ordination in the delivery of switchboard service throughout the Trust. This will include the management of any other centralised rota system which may be used by other departments but supported /managed by Switchboard.

Qualifications / Experience: 3 years relevant experience in of a Siemens, Mitel or equivalent system for call handling/switchboard.Or5 GCSEs And 2 years relevant experience in use of a Siemens, Mitel or equivalent system for call handling.In addition to either above the applicants must have one year's experience in staff management.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
