Job Duties: The employer is: USPCA.Ensuring that the telephones are answered promptly & politely, taking messages from incoming calls & passing on these messages to the appropriate persons.Welcome customers to the USPCA Animal Hospital, informing them of our procedures & being helpful at all times.Liaise with the Veterinary Department, Animal Welfare Officers & Grooming staff to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Animal Hospital.Make appointments in the diary with the guidance of the Receptionist on duty. Check the Reception email account & direct the enquiries to the appropriate persons.Under guidance, to provide information to clients, signposting them to the most appropriate services / department. Ensure that reception & the customer waiting areas are kept clean & tidy at all times.Such other reasonable duties as may be allocated from time to time by Management.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: GCSE Maths and English.IT literate.Good organisation skills.Ability to communicate well with the general public.Good understanding of the principles of customer centred service provision. Self-motivated and able to work independently.Be a team player, ready to be trained and actively involved in all aspects of reception work.
