Job Duties: The Employer is: LOWER ORMEAU RESIDENTS ACTION GROUP.Deal initially with users entering the facility & provide relevant information on request.Advise users on available membership packages & process membership applications.Receive bookings, maintain the Front Desk Management Booking Systems & deal with enquiries.Receive fees for admission & facilities booked. Assist with the hire and sale of facility services & assist with stock controls.Reconcile receipts and secure monies taken at reception in accordance with the relevant cash handling procedures.Operate all support systems, procedures & records.Operate telephone switchboard & internal PA systems as required.Reset security alarm systems at reception & deal with security or other problems arising.Undertake the duties in such a way as to enhance & protect the reputation & public profile of LORAG.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: Three GCSEs (grades A-C) including English, or equivalent qualifications. LORAG will consider 1 years experience which is proven relevant to the post.NVQ level 2 in customer service or equivalent qualifications. Experience in a one of the following areas.Working in a customer facing environment.Cash handling duties within a work environment.Competent use of Microsoft Office (including word, excel & PowerPoint).An ability to deal effectively with the general public, confirming to high standards of customer care.The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Able and willing to work on a rota basis that will involve unsocial hours to meet the objectives of the post.
