Job Duties: Medical Practice ReceptionistGeneral reception duties - greeting patients in person and on telephone. Making, cancelling appointments. Providing information regarding practice services. Entries into patient's computer records as directed. Liaising with pharmacist, nursing homes, where required to provide repeat prescriptions when authorised. Coordinating patient appointments, hospital letters, prescription requests and information with the Treatment Room nurses and other staff members to ensure procedures are effective, and patient's and Doctor's requirements are met in an efficient and accurate manner. Diary management. Maintain a tidy reception desk and public areas. Organising, filing and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications / Experience: GCSE English grade A-C. Microsoft Office applications; clinical system experience advantageous. Multi disciplinary team working. Medical environment experience advantageous. Previous reception experience.
