Job Duties: We require an experienced Heating Engineers for our busy Heating Maintenance Contract. They will be responsible for the servicing and response maintenance of all NIHE properties and for our Private customers. We are seeking Engineers for various areas throughout Northern Ireland including Omagh/Strabane, Antrim/Newtownabbey and Fermanagh.Reports to: ForemanWorking Hours:Monday - Friday7.30am - 5pmOn Call RotaFlexibility is required.Roles & Responsibilities:Job roles will include but are not limited to:Gas/Oil Maintenance repairs and breakdown repairsExpected to carry out annual Gas/Oil Services in NIHE properties and Private propertiesCarrying out inspections and safety checks on Gas boilersCarrying out safety checks and services on Oil appliancesThe role is not limited to this job description and the post holder will be required to carry out other duties at the request of Management. Flexibility to cover other office locations may be required

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Gas Safe registered with experience in servicing domestic gas systemsOROFTEC qualified with experience in servicing domestic oil systemsExperience in fault finding on domestic central heating systems and boilersFull Driving LicenceFlexible to cover other work locations as requiredAvailable to carryout call outs (on a rotational basis)Desirable Criteria:Experience working with NI Housing ExecutiveTime served or Qualified PlumberValid CSR CardPersonal Characteristics:Ability to build and maintain relationshipsExcellent Communication SkillsExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to use own initiative
