Job Duties: The postholder will assist the Sports Development Manager with the development and implementation of the Councils strategies and departmental business plan, within their area of responsibility. They will be responsible in improving access to sport and physical activities for people of all ages and abilities. In addition, they will support sporting groups, communities and organisations in the delivery of each of their relevant sports and activities.

Qualifications / Experience: Level 4* qualification and 1 years in:Development of successful working partnerships with a wide range of groups and individuals.Responsible for the delivery of Sports Development programmes, including identifying and securing funding for same. Budget management and associated administration. Successfully managing and delivery of multiple projects to time, quality and cost, with external agencies or funders.OR If no qualification then 2 years experience.Competence in use of e-mail and Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint.A full current driving licence.Ability to work outside of normal office hours.
