Job Duties: Key responsibilities:Process Payroll on a monthly basis. Complete year end payroll. Make RTI submissions.Assisting with the preparation and implementation of pay remitsTo accurately input and process financial data and ensure electronic and written financial records are filed within departmental and organisational standards and deadlines. This is to include all aspects of bookkeeping including receivables, payables, general ledger, payroll, pension and banking cycles, reconciliations, matching, journals and general financial administration.To provide support to the Finance Manager in the delivery of a seamless Finance function.To work closely with the Finance Manager in contributing to the development of finance strategy.Specific responsibility for the implementation and compliance of all policies in relation to the Finance function.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Part-qualified Accounting Technician - having gained a professional qualification in same or in the process of completing a professional qualification in same.And/Or:Qualified by experience in which case two or more years' experience in the last five in a finance officer position providing support to a variety of end users in a small/medium sized organisation.Experience of one or more years gained of payroll processing.Excellent skills in the use of computerised accounts packages and computerised payroll packages.Mathematics and English to Grade C GCSE or equivalent.Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Office.Excellent planning and organisational skills.Experience of inputting and processing financial information.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
