Job Duties: The purpose of this role is to be responsible is to identify, develop and close new business opportunities. The role will be responsible for generating business leads, following up on sales opportunities, identifying market opportunities, responding and contributing to tenders and building a robust network of professional contacts. Working closely with the Clinical and Operational Teams, the Business Development Executive will work collaboratively to develop new business opportunities, researching the market and identifying potential target customers in line with strategic objectives. In addition they shall attend industry events and network in order to generate business leads. This is an all-Ireland role, based in Belfast.
Qualifications / Experience: Third level qualification (or equivalent) plus 1 year's experience of working in a business development or similar role where relationship building was a critical success factor.OrA minimum of 3 years experience in a business development or similar role where relationship building was a critical success factor.Demonstrable experience of marketing, structured business development, and sales activities.Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, to include Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.To be flexible, as the role may involve working at various locations.Possess a full current driving licence and access to a car.
