Job Duties: PIPS Hope & Support are expanding their charitable services into Upper Bann and surrounding areas and are recruiting a Community Development & Training officer to deliver its services.The successful candidate will be based in the Lurgan area and provide Community Learning and Development opportunities which are responsive to local need throughout the area, leading to improved life changes through learning, personal development, clinical support and active citizenship and developing stronger, more resilient, supportive, influential and inclusive communities. Working as part of a team you will support the delivery of PIPS Hope & Supports community learning and Development priorities, which are developed through identifying and responding to need. You will develop and support PIPS Hope & Support Community Development Training, and promote the PIPS Hope & Support Counselling Support Services.
Qualifications / Experience: 3rd Level Qualification and evidenced based facilitation skills Or 2 years experience of delivering training and or education programmes in a paid or voluntary capacity.Excellent presentation, organisation and IT Skills.Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of managing and delivering Training and education programmes / workshops / projects Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Ability to recruit targeted groups and achieve objectives and targets within an agreed budget.Flexibility.A full current driving licence and access to a form of transport which will enable the post holder to carry out all duties on a daily basis.
