Job Duties: Provide specialist timely advice to clients regarding mental health and capacity law. This will require a detailed knowledge of the Mental Health (NI) Order 1986; the Mental Capacity Act (NI) 2016; the Codes of Practice; the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and obligations under the ECHR, Judicial Review and Common Law powers including Declaratory Orders and the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court.Drafting pleadings and other Court/Tribunal/Panel documentation as required.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
