Job Duties: Run a food growing programme in 250 private gardens across the Derry City & Strabane District Council area.Deliver Horticulture Training courses to garden owners and the general public and provide NCFE accreditation.Run a regular pop-up market to sell vegetables and other produce produced by the project, to promote wider awareness of locally grown food. Support the delivery of other training required by the project, including a longer permaculture course. Recruit and support Volunteer Officers and other volunteers to help deliver the programme.Help to promote all aspects of the project.

Qualifications / Experience: Applicants should ideally have a relevant qualification in horticulture and experience in practical horticulture and vegetable growing. Experience and understanding of working with volunteers, community involvement and the public is also important.
