Job Duties: Delivery of a highly specialist psychological service to Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Cancer services, working directly and indirectly with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team involved with the patient's care, to promote psychological health, quality of life and to reduce disability.To provide highly specialist psychological assessments of clients referred to the team based on the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: 2 years post qualification experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the lifespan and presenting with a full range of clinical severity.Honours degree in Psychology (or equivalent).Postgraduate doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained before 1996), as accredited by the BPS to work as a Practitioner Psychologist.Registration with the HCPC at the time taking up appointment.
