Job Duties: The employer is: FLIGHT GYMNASTICS ACADEMY CIC.Junior Assistant Coaches will help Lead Coaches to deliver gymnastics classes to children aged 4 - 17 years. They will set up and take down equipment as necessary, aid with class management, provide feedback and correction as necessary, assist with the planning of specific elements of a session (eg. warm up/cool down), carry put a range of administrative tasks, talk to parents if needed, provide wider support to the training centre as needed.Trainees will be expected to complete a number of Gymnastics Specific Governing Body (British Gymnastics) Qualifications and General Governance Qualifications e.g. Safeguarding, First Aid, etc.Trainees will be expected to assist with organising and delivering events and competitions as necessary.You will be entitled to annual leave during this Job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Experience of working with children General (age 4 - 17).Self-motivated, confident and sociable.Willingness and proven ability to work as part of a team.Ability to deal with users, their queries and concerns with tact and sensitivity.Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner.Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.Understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a gymnastics environment.Willingness to undertake further training and development as appropriate.Ability to use own initiative and work without direct supervision.Awareness of Safeguarding Children guidelines, Equal Opportunities Issues & GDPR guidelines.
