Job Duties: We are currently seeking applicants for the post of Participation and Policy Officer on a full-time basis.The successful applicant will assist Housing Rights to achieve its vision and deliver its strategic objectives through enhancing our capacity to meaningfully engage people with lived experience in the development of our work, and facilitating and supporting engagement of people who are homeless/poorly housed in developing and influencing policy solutions to deliver improved housing outcomes.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential criteria for this post includes but is not limited to: A third level education qualification in relevant discipline; experience of facilitating the involvement of the public; experience of policy and public affairs work including lobbying work; experience of writing policy information such as consultation responses, briefings and news articles; and experience of developing effective working relations with key decision makers/stakeholders including the public.
