Job Duties: To assist the Marketing Officer in the promotion of the Borough as a visitor destination through the development and delivery of a coherent tourism marketing plan in accordance with Departmental objectives and the Corporate Plan. Qualifications / Experience: HND / Foundation Degree in Marketing/Communications, or equivalent in a relevant subject area Or 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, together with 2 A levels or equivalent and 2 years previous employment experience as detailed below.1 year's previous employment experience in a communications or marketing role, to include:Developing and implementing marketing plans.Preparation and distribution of marketing campaigns to include traditional and digital platforms.Maintaining and developing databases.It is essential that the post holder be prepared to work outside normal office hours as required to fulfil the duties of the post.A valid driving licence with access to a form of transport that will allow fulfilment of the duties of the post or have access to a suitable form of transport which will enable the post holder to meet the requirements of the post.Please refer to Council website for Job Description
