Job Duties: To teach accredited courses and qualifications to learners of all ages from Level 1 to Level 3.This includes practical and theory classes, primarily based in the employers premises but also within a classroom based environment.To participate actively in the monitoring and assessment of learners.You will be expected to assess learner's skills and knowledge, as well as providing one to one feedback to improve performance.To motivate learners to achieve and develop skills and knowledge. To complete required paperwork including assessment plans and monitoring reviews to a high standard.Each learner is required to complete a portfolio of evidence which you are expected to mark and assess plus complete online exams where you will act as invigilator.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Retail/Warehousing or equivalent.5+ years' experience in the Retail/Warehousing industry and a strong occupational knowledge.Minimum of a Level 2 / GCSE English and Maths qualification or equivalent.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Full clean driving licence.Ability to communicate effectively with learners with a range of abilities and motivation.Ability to meet deadlines.Ability to work with external customers and stakeholders.Ability to work flexibly and effectively as a member of a team.Desirable:Achievement of A1 Assessors Award and Level 4 Certificate in Teaching or equivalent or willing to work towards one once in employment.Ability to utilise ICT both within learning and administrative processes.Experience of successful assessing/ teaching/ training would be advantageous.
