Job Duties: As an Employment Officer, you will work as part of a team to support people with a learning disability to access a range of employment and training opportunities, to develop their skills and confidence and to progress towards their employment goals and aspirations. We have two opportunities within our Employment & Personal Development team, based in our Omagh office, covering the Omagh & Fermanagh locality. Both positions will be offered on a fixed term basis (contract will end on 31 March 2023). One position will be 30 hours per week whilst the other will be 16 hours per week.Full details can be found on our website:

Qualifications / Experience: This role requires a self-motivated individual. You will have excellent time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team. You will be able to demonstrate effective negotiation and mediation skills.The role requires the ability to travel to meetings, events, and training, as well as to other Mencap locations when required. On occasions, staff may be required to work outside normal office hours.
