Job Duties: Play an active role in resourcing to ensure all positions are well staffed in a timely manner and provide regular reports on recruitment and selection to improve the resourcing process.Play an active role in the on-boarding and Talent Development programme.Support and actively collaborate on Emerson People Initiatives and Values across the site.Support the pay & benchmarking activities as well as providing payroll cover where required.Provide trusted advice to managers / team leaders on a full range of employee relations.Monitor people data metrics, producing relevant reports and providing advice on trends or areas for improvement.Ensure HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.Maintain and develop our HR systems and continually seek opportunities to improve, while all the time ensuring all employee data is accurate and up to date.Proactively focus on enhancing our Employee Brand, promoting diversity, inclusion and engagement.
Qualifications / Experience: Ideally candidates will have a Degree in Human Resources / Business Studies or other relevant discipline with at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing and a CIPD qualification.Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation.Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively build positive relationships and handle challenging conversations with integrity and credibility Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and HR computer packages.Team Player with a positive and proactive approach who can also work independently to a high standard to meet deadlines.Proficient organisation and project management skills.Flexible, hands-on approach with the drive and ability to provide support to a multi shift business.
