Job Duties: The employer is: ANTRIM & NEWTOWNABBEY BOROUGH COUNCIL (VALLEY LEISURE CENTRE)Responsible for carrying out duties in all areas of Leisure to ensure a high quality service is provided to all customers.To provide a professional high standard of lifeguarding service for council pool users.To provide a safe clean and presentable environment for customers.Meet and greet customers when appropriate, and assist in centre security by patrolling assigned areas and supervising customers in use of facilities.Attend regular staff training specific to the NPLQ, health and safety, evacuation procedures and all other essential and corporate training.Ensure hygiene is maintained throughout the centre by regular cleaning, using appropriate equipment and chemicals, and completing the relevant documentation.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: Qualifications:Applicants must be willing to undertake the NPLQ course on appointment.Experience:Appropriate training will be provided.Key Skills & Abilities:Strong swimmer.Commitment to the provision of a high quality public service.Enjoy working as part of a team.Respectful in all interaction with others.
