Job Duties: The employer is: NORTHERN CRICKET UNION OF IRELAND.Work with the Schools & Engagement Officer to embed cricket within the schools sporting provision.Support local clubs to increase capacity & sustain membership. Increase opportunities for school & club cricket, supporting new & relevant cricketing formats.Plan, deliver & review high quality cricket coaching sessions that are young person focused. Including coaching sessions for specific priority groups e.g women & girls, primary schools, & secondary schoolsDeliver taster sessions to Primary Schools.Plan, deliver & review school programmes (Primary & Secondary). Support local cricket clubs with development programmes. Support the transition of young people from school to clubs.Provide formal written reports & ensure that all monitoring & evaluation is undertaken as directed. You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Be willing to develop cricket specific coaching through a Cricket Ireland level One or a ECB Level Two.Experience of working within the sport at a recreational level. High levels of energy and enthusiasm and the desire to succeed Good project management skills and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. Experience of leading on community development programmes. Excellent administrative skills and evidence of project work. Child protection trained or, commitment to achieving this within a short period of time.First Aid trained or, a commitment to achieving this within a short period of time. Access NI. Ability to travel independently between sites (Full and valid driving licence).
