Job Duties: The employer is: BELFAST ACTIVITY CENTRE (BAC).Undertake assigned duties to support the smooth running of the Centre including planned site maintenance, stores and resources operational support including giving out and received back activity equipment and PPE. Meet and client greet groups checking client medical, disclosure forms, accessing suitability for planned activities. Setting up/taking down equipment and resources for outdoor adventure activities including physical handling of canoes/kayaks, mountain bikes, climbing ropes etc.Maintain equipment inventory including recording broken/defective equipment.Undertake accredited and non-accredited outdoor adventure learning activity training and skills development for job specific occupational skills development.Understand and practice photography and audio/visual recording for Social Media Marketing.Using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Qualifications and/or experience in outdoor adventure activities is welcome but not essential as training will be provided. Desirable qualifications in:First Aid.Child Protection.Paddling (canoeing/kayaking).Climbing i.e. National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS).Mountain Biking.Archery.Orienteering.Desirable experience:Working in outdoor environment including voluntary and vocational.Working as part of a team.Leading and instructing/coaching others.
