Job Duties: The Market Place Theatre is an important cultural resource for the local community as well as being one of the most significant and exciting regional arts development projects in Northern Ireland. It is also the principal cultural venue for Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council attracting over 50,000 people to performances & participative workshops every year.As a Casual Duty Officer, a customer facing and focused position, you will act as a first point of contact for the venue.Â

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria: Please demonstrate two years' experience of working with the public in a customer-facing environmentIT literate to include proficiency in MS Office packages: Word, Excel, Outlook, etcPlease demonstrate six months' experience of cash handlingPlease demonstrate one year's experience of supervising staffPlease demonstrate six months' experience of implementing safety policiesDesirable Criteria: Hold a valid First Aid CertificatePlease demonstrate experience of working within an arts/cultural environmentProficiency in use of box office systems e.g. Ticketsolve
