Job Duties: The Student Services Manager will have strategic and daily operational responsibility for the following areas:Inclusive LearningStudent Finance Student Support and CIEAG/Counselling Library/Learning ResourcesSafeguarding Student union/student voiceProvide advice and guidance to managers and other staff within the College on a range of matters relating to the key responsibility areas in Student Services outlined above. Manage the Student Services team. Plan, co-ordinate and monitor work programmes to ensure the successful delivery of College Development Plan and Service Business Plans.Deputise for the Head of Client Services on matters within the post holders sphere of responsibility, to support the delivery of student services within the College.

Qualifications / Experience: Applicants must, at the closing date for receipt of application forms, have as a minimum:A degree or equivalent level 6 qualification in any discipline; ANDBe able to demonstrate by providing personal and specific examples on the application form, at least three years' experience within an education or training setting in each of the following areas:Experience of pastoral care and addressing student needs. Experience of leading, developing and managing a team. Experience of contributing to and/or managing a budget. Desirable Experience Previous experience within FE/HE environment
