Job Duties: The post holder will be required to be at the forefront of customer services within the Council's Tourist Information and Visitor Centres. The post holder will be required to strive to maintain the high quality standards established within the Council's visitor services section and will be a vital team player in helping to create an economic return for the Borough. The role will include dealing with visitor enquiries, providing literature, advice, bookings, research, ticketing, visitor guiding and retail sales.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum of 5 GCSEs at A-C grades or equivalent including English Language.(Please list level, subjects and grades. Equivalency/comparability should be clearly demonstrated).A Typewriting/Word processing qualification. Alternatively if applicants do not meet this essential typewriting/word processing qualification please see experience column below for guidance.If applicants do not meet this essential typewriting/word processing qualification as outlined above, it is essential that applicants have 1 years' word processing experience in a working environment.Access to a form of transport to enable the post holder to meet the requirements of the post in full.
